Essential oils improve mask wearing

Who had “mask wearing will become the norm” on their 2020 bingo board?

Since learning that masks can help reduce the spread of Covid-19 virus, we’ve seen a push across the nation to mandate the wearing of masks in public. As we’ve all experienced, it’s taking some getting used to, with some having a harder time than most.

Are you having a hard time getting used to wearing your mask? Do you get anxious or have shortness of breath? Do you get headaches, lose mental clarity or simply hate being trapped smelling your breath? Well, there’s good news! Essential oils have been found to really improve smell as well as mood.

Essential oils are potent that’s why less is more; it’s recommended to start with a couple drops and adjust to the desired scent. To improve your mask wearing experience, add 1 to 2 drops of essential oil on the outside of your mask.

Tea tree, lemon and eucalyptus essential oils are antibacterial and antiviral and work well to protect the immune system, as well as affect the respiratory system by opening up the lungs, making breathing easier. Lavender oil is good for alleviating stress and anxiety. All of the oils mentioned work well to instantly improve the experience.
